Fay and I spent 3 days at Hobart (5th-7th Jan), our first 'Girls Days out'. She just loved it, NO Matt for 3 full days meant peace and quiet, noone to annoy her.
We stayed at a hostel, she has a hard time adjusting to it after staying at resorts for most of our holiday. For one thing, there is NO swimming pool. And there was no other kids to play with, there were so many young adults, which she has now invented a new word for them "yadults".
About 2 minutes walk from the hostel is her favourite shop, "Spotlight". It's like having 'Spotlight' at your doorstep! Message to Grandma Nolen - this is where Fay spent the Christmas money you sent her. She bought some fabric, velcro and ribbon and has been sewing since we got back.
We took the Red Decker bus to go around Hobart when we arrived, it took us to the Botanical Garden the next day where we spent the day.
